Day One: Arrive in Santiago and check-in at our Hotel Sommelier boutique www.sommelierboutique.cl in the Belle Artes and Barrio Lastarria area, or Santiago’s NoiVitacura.

Day Two: Hotel breakfast then off on our scenic tour of historical landmarks and monuments of Santiago, Cerro Santa Lucía, the Mercado Central and scenic neighborhoods, ending at the Barrio Bellavista for lunch (on your own) at one of the dozens of eateries with a little time to shop in the area! We then return to our coach and head off to Santa Cruz and the Colchagua Valley. Breathtaking views of the Andes on the way! Day Three: Breakfast at Hotel then off to the vineyards!! We will visit Viu Manent http://viumanent.cl/en/ for an “ebike” tour or a horse drawn carriage ride through the vineyards followed by a customized 3 course Sommelier lead, wine and food pairing Lunch. After lunch we visit another winery and then return to the hotel .

Day Four: Breakfast at Hotel, then off to the plaza at Santa Cruz where traditional artisans gather and sell their textiles and goods. Another option is to visit the Museo Colchagua across the street from the plaza:

After that we head out to visit wineries for tastings in the Apalta Valley. Breakfast and a late afternoon picnic included. Dinner on your own.
Day Five: Breakfast at Hotel, board our coach and depart for Valparaiso. First stop is at Viña Chocalán in the Maipo Valley, https://chocalanwines.com/web/eng/ to enjoy a tour, tasting and picnic lunch at Quincho “El Origen”, where we will enjoy an amazing picnic lunch under the cool shade of the Quillayes trees. After lunch we stop in a small traditional village, Pomaire, known for its artisanal pottery shops. You’ll have time to shop and enjoy a coffee or afternoon cerveza in the village plaza with many outdoor cafes to choose from. Back in our coach for our final leg to Valaparaiso arriving at our hotel CasaBlu.
Enjoy dinner at one of the many local eateries in the neighborhood. Recommendations available!

Day Six: Hotel breakfast followed by a private guide leading us on a walking tour around Valparaíso . After that you will have free time to explore or take one of the extra optional excursions offered. (details of excursions on request). Breakfast included,

Day Seven: Hotel breakfast then a free day in Valparaíso to visit the museums, view the street art and travel up one of the funiculars to view the seascape and surrounding city views.

Day Eight: Hotel breakfast and time to depart, our last day before heading back to the airport. We'll stop at one of our favorite Casablanca Valley wineries. i.e., Casa del Bosque

Valparaíso was declared a World Heritage Site in 2003. Built upon dozens of steep hillsides overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Valparaíso has a labyrinth of streets and cobblestone alleyways, embodying a rich architectural and cultural legacy. Valparaíso is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will have a private walking tour on Day 6 of our tour and hear the history and stories behind this fascinating city!
